Acts 21:1-17

Keith Cooper

Following the Saviour

Paul’s travels bring him into contact with yet more believers. Their warm welcome shows how completely they have forgiven him for his history as a persecutor of the church, present and assenting to the murder of the martyr Stephen. Simply, the believers love Paul.

These brothers and sisters in Christ warn Paul of the risks he faces, pursuing his course; these warnings are based on revelation from the Holy Spirit. Nevertheless, Paul single-mindedly continues as he believes he must, to share the gospel to many nations, even at the risk of his own life. Paul is committed to the mission.
